		This child’s view of a butterfly starts with the association with flowers. Next, the butterflies are so colorful and delicate that they must be female, consequently a number of female characteristics show up. Finally, the child could not remember how exactly the butterfly head was connected to its body - so no connection was shown at all. The "Eye Of The Child" drawings are the innocent expressions of how a child views the world. The art reflects the limited experience of the child along with a limited ability to draw and color. Making up for these deficiencies are the warmth of heart and an eagerness to share what has been learned with others.
