		A child’s view of their house often shows the back yard where they spend most of their time. In this picture, the house itself is a rather generic structure. The child’s bedroom window is upper right - and being more important than the others, it’s larger and more detailed. In the back yard are a few favorite items: a swingset with slide and a favorite tree. The air conditioning heat pump is shown left of the back door - an item not well understood, but given a fair amount of detail because it makes noise at times and is mysterious. The "Eye Of The Child" drawings are the innocent expressions of how a child views the world. The art reflects the limited experience of the child along with a limited ability to draw and color. Making up for these deficiencies are the warmth of heart and an eagerness to share what has been learned with others.
