The day of healing was one of the most glorious days the world had ever known. People everywhere reached out to their fellow man, proclaimed their faith in God, and took personal responsibility for the healing of all sorts of ailments and afflictions. The joy in the healers was as great as the joy in those being healed. Almost everyone felt an awakening of their spirit they had never felt before. Tears of happiness flooded the world as the deaf found their hearing, the blind their sight. Diseases of all descriptions mysteriously vanished. Even those healers who lost their way with God during the day and were forced to confess what they had done, felt such a burst of renewal that they began to think seriously about their lifestyle and the true ways of God.In the city Adam, Jamahl, and Pastor Kanger toured the inner city early in the morning. They visited all the haunts that Jamahl knew and helped thousands begin a fresh, healthy life with God. They also kept the local police units busy with the drugs and guns they collected. Later the trio went to several dozen stops around the city. They mostly witnessed others in the act of healing. In some cases, they joined hands with the homeless or some forgotten people in the hospitals of the area. All glowed with the fire of Gods presence and reveled in their new found feelings of wellness. At the end of the day the three returned to Jamahls apartment for some well-deserved rest. The hearts, the minds, the souls of the world were filled with Gods grace. |
