Chapter 14

A Very Special Person

"Look around you" said Adam, gesturing to the urban decay in every direction. "The trash you see around you is dirt in God’s eye. Let’s see what we can do to change that." Adam proceeded to lead the reporter and all of the rest on a walking trash pickup sweep of the neighborhood. The well-dressed people picked items up with great care. Seeing the spectacle Adam shouted "You will get better at this once you get some good gloves! . . . and you won’t need your fancy health clubs if you exercise here on the streets!"
After 45 minutes, all the trash that could be found was out of sight. Some of the more industrious were picking up cigarette butts. Adam turned to the reporter "Now you have done something today to make the world a better place! Find the way to make the world a better place with every day of your life. As you pick up the trash on the ground, clear the trash lingering in your hearts and minds as well. Clear up the clutter between you and those around you before it becomes an insurmountable trash heap. You will have a better vision of God’s way if you aren’t distracted by your personal clutter."
Adam turned to see Sue Bailey. "Are you ready to do some healing, Miss Bailey?"
"Yes, I think so" responded Sue.
"We’ll follow you" said Adam as he stood at the door to Arthur’s car. The two cars drove off. The hundreds of following vehicles were not far behind.
