Adam returned to his seat and John used his handkerchief to blow his nose in an effort to compose himself."To answer your question, Mr. Turner, it will seem like a wave sweeping the planet from east to west. The far east will be affected first, then Europe and Africa and then the Americas."John Turner responded "Can someone get on a plane and fly east to west to escape the sunrise to sunset time span where they normally live?"Adam answered "You cannot run from gravity - you cannot run from yourself - you cannot run from God. Those who try will be affected just as if they had stayed where they were."With a few more questions, the final press conference at the resort was over. Adam spent a few minutes walking around with Pastor Kanger and greeting people. Some of the people who met Adam responded with reverence, while it was clear others were fearful. Many people treated Adam like a celebrity and asked for his autograph. Adam always declined.Pastor Kanger and Adam were soon on their way to the nearest large metropolitan area. Pastor Kanger was a little concerned that they had not made hotel reservations before they left. "We won’t need to find a place to stay" assured Adam. "There will always be those who will share their homes with us. It might even be some of our friends back there" snickered Adam as he gestured toward the back of the car. Following in parade like fashion were about 50 vehicles. Above was a news helicopter. Everyone was anxious to see where Adam would go next. |
