Thursday was a non-eventful day. Adam and Pastor Kanger took their walk, attended the 10am interview, and filled the day talking to a host of media and citizens. They retired early that evening and rested for the challenges to come.

Friday morning brought with it a special interview for Adam. He had agreed to undergo a psychological interview by a staff psychologist from one of the major networks. The interview was set in Adam’s cabin at 9am and scheduled to last an hour. A single camera recorded the proceedings.

The 10am press briefing was formatted differently. Lisa Walters from the local TV station was scheduled to interview the network psychologist about her interview of Adam.

The group took their place on Adam’s porch which was by now a familiar setting for press briefings. Lisa got things started "Doctor, would you share with us your analysis of Adam Sampson?"

"I’d be glad to" replied the doctor. "Mr. Sampson has a complex psychological profile. He has only vague memories of the past and almost no knowledge of any of the major religious books of the world. He is operating under the understanding of a divine assignment. Unlike others I have interviewed, Mr. Sampson’s divine assignment doesn’t center attention on himself or assign Godlike qualities to himself. Rather his interpretation of his assignment is to get people thinking about God, the gifts from God they have, and to challenge people into making the world a better place."

Lisa countered "Do you think Mr. Sampson is really an agent of God?"

"Well he certainly thinks he is" replied the doctor.

"No, you’re missing the point" said Lisa. "Based on your experience, training, and the interview you just completed, do you believe that Adam Sampson is an agent of God?"
