The East Meadow is a combination nature and "wild flower" area. I had to put quotes around (wild flower) because not everything is wild. I take advantage of any overflow from our regular flower gardens. As a result, there are iris, daisies, and mint growing next to thistles, milkweed, and grasses. This is a favorite area of our wild pheasants who seem to enjoy noisily bolting up from the undergrowth, just when you are a foot away! |
