The Clay Field gets its name from the yellow clay which makes this area a challenge to work. Recently, we have been working in organic materials - including leaves in fall and mulch cut from our Mulch Fields. Time will tell if this will be effective - guess there's not much harm to be done by trying. The Clay Field measures 115ft by 180ft and is generally used to grow birdhouse gourds. |
