The Gloriosa Daisy is a showy flower, which at first glance, suggests the markings of a sunflower.
This "photograph" wasn't taken in traditional sense of the craft. Actually, this was done with a digital flatbed scanner. The flowers and leaves were collected and arranged on the glass of the scanner. The "photo" had to be built in layers - the items in the front went on the glass, then the next flowers, then the leaves around the edges. The top of the scanner was left wide open to create the jet black background. Although not a classic photo, I liked the results nonetheless.
