The Corsican Flat gourds are a great traditional item for table centerpieces and room accents.  The gourds run from 6 - 12" in diameter.  We clean them inside and out and usually apply a stain to give a deep color.  Then we apply wax to give a high gloss finish.  We also drill holes around the rim to hold lashing.  Finally, we add decorative accents in the form of beads, feathers, dried flowers, or other natural items.

The gourd pictured has a green stain and beads for accent.  If you have special requirements in terms of the color of stain, size of the gourd (to fit a special area), or accents used, please indicate your requirements in the "Comments" area of the order form.  If you don't indicate any special requirements, we'll make one for you the way WE like it.
