I think there are few things in nature that can rival the colors and complexity of tropical fish. The shapes and vibrant colors of the fish are echoed in the colors, shapes, and textures of their surroundings. Do you imagine tropical fish have an appreciation for how special they are?
This photo was taken at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. When shooting through glass, it’s usually best to get as close as you can, especially if your camera has auto sensors and adjustments. This was a flash photo - but you need to be careful - many of the exhibits didn’t allow flash photos. I usually set my flash for "Fill Flash" just to make sure I get some extra light to brighten colors and help stop action.
