Ernie was a long-haired cat who had extra toes and some really neat eyes.  She was exploring in a dark cabinet which had been left open.  As she was gathering herself to leave the cabinet, I was able to capture her soft fur, extra toes, and colorful, dilated eyes.

Earlier, I asked Ernie what she was looking for.  When she turned and answered in a cat-talk half-meow, I saw how her eyes looked - I knew right then I HAD to get a photo.  I placed a small flash on my camera and held the camera on the floor - I wanted to shoot below her eye level.   Once in position, I called to her once more and got her to turn around.   Fortunately, she took a seat inside the cabinet and seemed to pose for the picture.   Thanks, Ernie!  I cropped the photo rather tightly to reduce the visual clutter from inside the cabinet.
