		These Maximillian Sunflowers are delightful to see on a hot summer day. They are the sort of flower that you go out of your way to have a better look - and once standing toe-to-toe with the flowers, you pause to have a silent conversation with the majestic organic world. The key photographic technique here was a wide open aperture and a shallow depth of field. This setting caused the lower left flower to blur slightly, consequently directing attention to the center right bloom which is crisply in focus.
