Mary Ellen
proudly stands next to a flower garden she claims is a result of her hard work as a
gardener. Although she caught a few of the slower mice in the area, most of her
"gardening" efforts were really associated with going to the bathroom.
She thinks those cat scratches are the same as human efforts at cultivation,
consequently, she has proclaimed herself a "Master Cat Gardener." I
liked the combination of colors, textures, and shapes in this photo. I decided the
birdhouse on the post needed to be at the top left 1/3 line intersection. With that
as an anchor, I selected a low camera angle and the rest of the photo sort of filled
itself in. Unfortunately, there was a dark area in the center created by a path in the
garden. Our cat Mary Ellen was sleeping near our house, so I grabbed her and set her
in place to fill the gap. Since she had been sleeping, she pretty much stayed where
I plunked her down as she gathered her thoughts. |
