The water lily is such a vibrant flower, it's a shame it doesn't last very long.

When I saw this lily blooming next to two blooming purple things, I knew I had to get a photo.  Selecting a vertical format was an easy decision.  The only challenge was selecting the best perspective.  This elevation was just high enough to invite a peek into the heart of the bloom (I call this the "cleavage effect" - give the viewer a peek, but don't show them everything!).
