This is a photograph of contrasts.  The beautiful lily at the peak of its bloom, is contrasted by a dumb, ugly frog.

This is a home court photo.  We have a couple of goldfish ponds on our farm.   When I was feeding the fish, I noticed this frog near a blooming lily.  I carefully left, went in the house, and quietly returned with my camera.  I was grateful the frog had not moved.  I used a short telephoto lens to keep my distance and used a fairly high perspective to limit the field of view.  After I took this photo, I was moving for a slightly different angle when the frog took off.  I usually like to always get at least one quick photo in a scene like this which has the potential to be dynamic.  I usually try to improve over my first attempt, but if things change in the scene, I don't go away empty handed.
