When I was walking along the waterfront in Naples, Italy,  I noticed this cat who sat proudly next to a fishing boat.  He gave me one of those "cat looks" which seemed to proclaim that he was indeed the owner of the boat.   I thought that he must be the luckiest cat in the world to own a fishing boat!

This photograph made use of a number of leaing lines which all direct visual focus on the cat.  First, the bottom lines of the boat form a "V" which points to the cat and the vertical bow has the cat at the lower end.  Next, the S-shaped rope runs near the cat.  Finally, the boat's shadow creates another line which converges at the cat.  Notice that only a glimpse of the boat's interior was included.  If a vertical format was used to show more of the boat, it would have diverted attention from the cat.
